FREE tools to change and/or merge Dynamics GP GL Accounts, Customers, Vendors, Inventory Items – and MORE!
Have you heard that Microsoft is now offering The Professional Services Tools Library (PSTL) at no charge? The PSTL contains several utilities that change, merge, update, check, and report on a variety of records that businesses need as they grow and change. Historically these powerful tools have been for purchase only, and require registration keys. Not any more….. the utilities needed to change and control critical data and processes are FREE and get installed with Dynamics GP automatically.
In order to use the new FREE PSTL for Microsoft Dynamics GP, you will need to download the most current version and install. You will need to be logged in as ‘sa”. When you open the Professional Services Tools Library window from your shortcut, you can click on Register and the correct registration key will default in!
The Tools are organized by Series, just like all other Dynamics GP add-ons, and there are tools for each:
1. Finance Series Tools
2. Purchase Series Tools
3. Sales Series Tools
4. Payroll Series Tools
5. Inventory Tools
6. System Tools
In addition to some of the most popular tools that change/merge records, there are tools to:
· Track changes to Employee records (remember… even if you don’t use Dynamics GP Payroll, you can still use the Employee Master tables to track employee data)
· Mass Apply posted RM Credit Documents to posted RM Debit Documents by selected ranges.
· Allows Drop Ship Sales Orders to be transferred to Invoice prior to invoicing the Purchase Order.
· Start Microsoft Dynamics GP and run one or more integrations or integration groups and then have Dynamics GP exit when integrations are complete.
