In Dynamics GP you have the ability to customize the sorting options within lookup windows. This functionality is available across all core modules.
To setup an Advanced Lookup go to Microsoft Dynamics GP>Tools>Setup>Company>Advanced Lookups:
Select a Lookup Name. For this example I have chosen Purchase Orders as the Lookup Name and have opted to sort by Buyer ID.
Now when I go to a lookup on Purchase Orders there is an additional sorting option ‘Buyer ID’ under View>Additional Sorts:
Note there is now a column labeled ‘Buyer ID’ showing the Purchase Orders and the Buyers ID:
